Christmas and then some

This was seriously the best Christmas ever!!! We had so much fun at our family parties and spending Christmas eve and Christmas day with each of our families. I loved being able to spoil my two favorite people! And Casey as usual went above and beyond and spoiled me rotten!! Brooklyn was so cute, she loved all the wrapping paper! I love how big she is getting. She yells momma all day. And if she sees or hears Casey she will start yelling dada. She also says baba whenever she wants a bottle. And on sunday Casey's dad picked her up and she looked at him and said grandpa-pa-pa. It was so cute!

I am loving life right now! Not that I don't always, I am just really enjoying it right now. Brooklyn is so fun...very busy but fun! She started crawling 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I can't get over how freakin cute she is! She is seriously the happiest baby ever. One day I was tickling her and she was laughing and I noticed that she was getting a tooth so I looked closer she wasn't just getting one she was getting 3! And yesterday another top tooth came in. So now she has 2 on top and 4 on bottom. Good thing I stopped nursing the week of Thanksgiving because 5 days later is when I noticed all her teeth. Brooklyn loves both Casey and I so much. Anytime we walk in the room she smiles as big as she can and crawls as fast as she can to one of us. The best is when Case gets home from work. He walks through the door and she says "Hiiii daaa" in the highest pitch voice. We seriously love that little girl so much! She is such a blessing in our lives! We are so lucky that she came to us. I am so grateful to Casey that he works so hard so that I am able to stay home. I can't believe how lucky I am. I get to play with my best friend all day! I am so lucky to be married to such and amazing person! I didn't know I could ever be this happy. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Hopefully you'll hear from me in less than 3 months haha

Lake Powell

At the first of this month we went to Lake Powell with Casey's whole family. We had so much fun! His family owns a houseboat which makes the trip ten times better! I was a little scared about going this time of year thinking it would be way cold down there, but the weather was perfect till a storm hit the last few days. The water is really warm this time of year so we did a ton of swimming. Brooklyn was an angel the whole trip, even the drive there and back. She absolutely loved the boat rides. It was so cute I don't have a picture of it and the video is on our video camera but she sat next to me and watched Casey wakeboard and she had a huge grin on her face the whole time!

I am so lucky to be a part of this familly!

I am so lucky to have married into such a great family! I love every single one of Casey's siblings so much! We all had such a great time and are so grateful to his parents for taking us every year!!

6 Months!

Really 6 months? Wow where has the time gone? I guess time really does fly when your having fun! Brooklyn is getting to be more and more fun! This week we had her 6 month appointment and she is still WAY big for her age! She weighed 18 pounds 12 ounces and is 27 3/4 long. She is in the 95 percentile for her length and weight. So that puts her average for a 10 month old. She is so chunky! But it is so cute! I can't get enough of her fat little legs.


Besides how freakin cute she is, she is also such a happy baby! We seriously cannot get enough of her. She laughs at everything we do and it is so fun!

Some of her favorite things are...

Playing with her toes. This is what she does every time she wakes up and every time she lays down.



She absolutely loves when Casey sings to her and even more when he looks at her while singing!



Brooklyn is such a good eater! She now eats solids 3 times a day and she loves everything she tries! It is so nice she stays so clean while eating because she makes sure to get it all! This is my little brother Bryan feeding her.


She can now sit up all by herself. It is so nice to sit her on the floor and give her some toys and she entertains herself.


She can stand holding herself up but we have to stay right there because she will get tired and just let go.

She also loves taking baths but I don't have an updated picture of it. Its so cute she just sits and splash the entire time.
Casey and I love her so much!! Being a parent is the best thing ever!

Now for and update on Casey and I. Casey has been very busy with work, but has made sure to still save some energy for Brooklyn and I. He is getting sooo excited for hunting season. That is all he can think or talk about. Its so cute he is like a little boy. I haven't been up to much besides being a mom. But I am not complaining one bit. Being a stay at home mom is the best thing ever! I am so lucky to have a husband that supports me and wants me to be at home. I love him so much!
