So in love...

With this little girl! I seriously cannot get enough of her. She cracks me up. She is so full of life and is constantly on the go. Brooklyn is so sweet and loves to share with everyone. She loves babies so much and always gets down really close to them and talk to them in a really high voice it is so cute! But she definitely has a little bit of sass in her. She is the biggest tease, she will lean in and go to give you a kiss then turn her head and say NO.

Lately she has become quite the "mommy's girl" and I am loving it! She has even starting calling Casey mommy also. And he is not a fan! But I really love how close Brooklyn and I have become. She is my little mini me and best friend. The older she gets the more fun we are having with her. I feel bad to say this but I really am not ready for another kid just yet. I am having too much fun with Brooklyn.

A few of my favorites of Brooklyn:

• She pats my back or arm when she gives me "luvs"
• Whenever someone leaves she says "bye bye, love you"
• She feeds her babies her sippy cup and says "num num" while doing so
• Whenever I put on make up I have to put some on her (I just rub my bronzer brush on her face)
• The way she puckers her lips when I put lip gloss on her
• How she has to wear her "pretties" (necklaces) everywhere we go
• How excited she is when she folds her arms through a prayer. She claps and says yay.
• She will run out of a room and come back in and say "BOO"
• If there is ever a quiet moment she will look at you and say "BOO"
• Our game she loves to play. I pretend to sleep and she says "BOO" to wake me up. Then she pretends to sleep and she breathes really hard out of her mouth like she is snoring till I scare her.
• She wants to snuggle before her nap and when she wakes up
• How obsessed she is with driving anything and everything

HAWAII

At the beginning of this month we went with Casey's family to Hawaii. We were gone for 8 days with no babies. :( It was so hard to leave Brooklyn, but my AMAZING mother stayed at my house with Brooklyn. We went to 2 different islands while we were there. First we went to Oahu for 3 days and then we went to Maui for 5 days. We had so much fun. It was one of the best trips I have ever been on! While we were on Oahu we stayed in Waikiki Beach. It was so much fun. We stayed at a resort in Maui so while we were in Oahu we wanted to do all the touristy stuff. So the second day we were there we went to the swap meet, the Dole pineapple factory, the "LOST" beach, the Temple, and then we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. This just happened to be the day we left our camera at the hotel. So I don't have any pictures but Casey's mom was kind enough to take pictures for us. The next day we went to Pearl Harbor and then that night we flew out to Maui. In Maui we did a lot of relaxing by the pool and on the beach. Our resort was amazing! Just a short walk down the beach was "Whalers Village" it was a fun shopping center with some fun restaurants. We ate soo well on this trip! But the best part of the trip was when we were snorkeling at the reef in front of our resort when 3 huge sea turtles came swimming in. Sea turtles are my favorite! Ever since I was little I have been obsessed with them, so I was freaking out when this happened.

Brooklyn's Birhtday

Brooklyn is ONE! I seriously can't believe that it has been a year! March 16, 2009 was one of the best days of our lives. This year has been amazing! Though it has been hard at times, I would not trade this little girl for anything! We love her so much. We honestly probably tell her we love her at least a hundred times a day. And every time we get the biggest grin. I can't express how grateful I am to be Brooklyn's mom.

We had so much fun on her birthday. Casey and I decorated her room and just played with her all day. She loved having Casey home and all she wanted to do was wrestle and get chased by him. It was a nice day so Brooklyn and I and went for a walk outside while Case went to the store to the get stuff to make her birthday cake. Which by the way he did amazing! I was a little nervous at first, and especially nervous when the cake broke into a million pieces! But somehow he made it look so cute! The reason Casey made the cake was because it was a tradition in his family that his dad made all the cakes and so he wanted to carry on the tradition.

After he finished the cake we headed over to his parents house for her birthday party. Both our families and our Grandparents came. It was a princess themed party so everyone had on a princess crown including all the boys! :D B got some of the cutest clothes ever! Casey was mad at me for buying so many especially after all the ones she got but I can't help it! I seriously have a problem. I told Casey to take my wallet away because I can't stop buying stuff for her! Her favorite present was her "baby" doll. She was trying to pull it out of the box and was getting so mad that I couldn't get those stupid twisting things off it fast enough. She carries it everywhere and say Be-Be. And she will randomly stop to give it kisses.

She loved her cake as you will see in the pictures. The minute we put it in front of her she put her finger in to get some frosting. She was loving playing in it till her hands were covered. She was shaking her hands and getting cake everywhere in an attempt to get them clean. I knew once her hands were "dirty" she would be done. If she gets any tiny bit of anything on them she whimpers and holds her hands out to be cleaned. So after shaking cake everywhere we turned her back towards her cake but she was done so she stood up and turned to Casey and stepped in a huge piece, she HATED it. She lifted her legs up and was sitting in this pike position and wouldn't put them down. This girl has some serious stomach muscles! And of course she loved her bath to get all clean.
